'Museum-School-Student' Project in Lithuania

In 2012 Lithuanian Association of Adult Education conducted 12 seminars in the project "Museum - School - Student. Museums and secondary schools in the National Network of Partnership" which is carried out by Lithuanian Museums' Association (project no. VP1-2.2-MES-10-V-02-012).
Training took place in two target groups. One group was for the lifelong learning administrators and another group was for general education teachers. Training courses in Lithuania
Lifelong learning administrators were presented to the educational opportunities of Lithuanian museums. They watched educational programs and debated with each other and with the museum administration for closer cooperation.
Museum educational programs were demonstrated for general education teachers. They had to prepare a training program of their subject based on the museum's exposition in the practical part.
The training took place in seven museums of Lithuania: Lithuanian Art Museum, Alytus Ethnographic Museum, Kaunas M. Žilinskas Art Gallery, Klaipėda P. Domšaitis Gallery, Šiauliai "Aušra" Museum, Panevėžys Regional Museum, National Museum of Lithuania.
